Grants
We invite eligible nonprofit organizations who meet our mission statement to apply for grants, through our two-step process. Grants ranging from $3,000 to $15,000 are awarded in the spring. Questions about the grant process should be sent to [email protected].
Grant Application Process
Submission of
Letter of Intent
The first step of the Grants Process is to submit a one-page Letter of Intent (LOI) to MWGT.

Organizations that are selected can move on to submitting their Grant Application.
Application Review
& Selection
Applications are screened by an Objective Review Committee and grantees are selected.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a grant from MWGT, organizations must:
- Align with MWGT’s mission
- Hold current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status,
- Serve communities specified in the mission statement,
- Address a significant community need, and
- Have clear goals, objectives, and measurable outcomes.
Organizations that meet the above criteria must submit a letter of intent in order to be considered for a grant.
