The Maine Women’s Giving Tree hosted the Seventh Annual Grant Awards Ceremony on June 13 at the Curtis Library in Brunswick and awarded grants to:
- $13,000 to Though These Doors (formerly Family Crises Services)
- $7,500 to Bath Housing Development
- $4000 to Tedford Housing
- $5,000 to Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute
- $3,000 to Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program
- $5,000 to Oasis Free Clinics
- $5,000 to Trust for Our Future; MSAD75 Education Fund

The representatives of the organizations receiving the 2018 awards are Erika Simonson from Though These Doors (formerly Family Crises Services); Kim Gore with Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute; Deborah Keller and Jess Irish from Bath Housing Development; Giff Jamison for Tedford Housing; Kristina Jenkins, Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute; Karen Parker and Hannah Chatalbash from Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program; Anita Ruff and Dr. Peter McGuire of Oasis Free Clinics; Mary Booth of Trust for Our Future; MSAD75 Education Fund.
